Michael Louviere was a husband, father, a U.S. Marine, Afghan War Vet and member of the Westwego police force in Louisiana along with brave civil servants I'm proud to call my friends. Earlier this year, Mike, off-duty at the time, stopped to help someone who had been in an accident, only to be murdered by the same, leaving behind a wife and two young children. A horrifying story, senseless and tragic. Ours isn’t to understand why, but to support others in their time of need.
