Nashville, TN - November 1, 2019 - One of Country music’s most celebrated and admired artists, Clint Black, released the first single and accompanying music video for “This Old House” today from his highly-anticipated album, Still Killin’ Time.

This Old House” honors country music’s home the Grand Ole Opry and features a team of powerhouse performers who are no strangers to the Opry stage including; Trace Adkins, Dierks Bentley, Cody Jinks, Sara Evans, Michael Ray, Darius Rucker, Travis Tritt, and Steve Wariner.

“It’s such an honor to have these great artists agree to sing on this record and the willingness of the Opry to open its archives and its doors to me for the making of the video is more than I could’ve dreamed. This has been one of the most exciting experiences in my entire career,” says Black.

A portion of the proceeds from “This Old House” will benefit the Opry Trust Fund, which for more than 50 years has supported members of the Country music community in need.

On Friday, November 8th, Black will release Still Killin’ Time featuring eight live recordings of Clint’s hits and two studio recordings of songs that nearly made it onto his debut album Killin’ Time, “This Old House” and “No One Here For Me.”

"I’ve toyed with the idea of a live album for years. If ever there was a time for a “snapsot” of our live performances, it would be the 30th anniversary of my first album release. To bring more nostalgia to the project, I dug up two songs we never recorded that were “in the stack” of songs we wrote for Killin’ Time; “This Old House” and “No One Here for Me.” I thought they would fit in well with Still Killin’ Time."

The special live album holds true to the traditional sound that continues to resonate with classic country fans.

The Hits. Hats. History. Tour Kicks Off May 2nd In Charlotte

Country music icons Trace Adkins and Clint Black will make a triumphant return to the stage together as part of the Hits. Hats. HistoryTour. Pre-sale tickets go on sale March 5, with all remaining tickets going on sale March 8 at 10 a.m. (local time).

The Hits. Hats. History. Tour kicks off May 2 in Charlotte, North Carolina and travels to nine different cities through August 9, with additional dates announced in the coming weeks. This summer tour will get that much hotter via the addition of a series of special guest artists such as Terri Clark, John Berry and Craig Campbell.

“It’s been a few years since Clint and I shared the stage,” explains Trace Adkins, a three-time GRAMMY nominated BBR recording artist. “Since then, we have both been fortunate to have added a few more hits, and hats to our collection. Looking forward to this!”

“Trace and I toured together back in the 90s and I’m really looking forward to sharing the stage with him again!” said Black, a GRAMMY award winner and one of the most successful singer/songwriters of the modern era.  “He’s a lot of fun and a real pro.”

You can listen to The Clint Black Christmas Collection at the link provided HEREAdditionally, the album is available for purchase in various holiday bundles at www.clintblack.com.

Clint says, “In writing the first album, Looking for Christmas, I learned where our centuries old traditions came from, and I knew I would have to continue writing songs to help grow the collection. This year, I’m thrilled to share even more new songs, including those from my holiday musical, Looking for Christmas, and those featuring my lovely wife and daughter.”

Keeping with the spirit of Christmas, this self-produced release is a family affair for Clint. His wife Lisa Hartman Black joins Clint for a beautiful rendition of his 1995 cut “The Finest Gift.” Lily Pearl Black makes a splash on her recording debut with the gorgeous “Magical Christmas,” one of her dad’s new songs on the album. Also appearing on this collection are classics like “Light the Fire” - written for the animated television series Transformers: Rescue Bots- and “The Kid,” which features a co-writing credit from the late great country music star Merle Haggard.

Clint and wife Lisa to share the stage for limited performances of "A Clint Black Christmas"

GRAMMY award winning, country music icon, Clint Black will welcome his wife Lisa Hartman Black to the stage for Christmas-inspired performances this December.  With more dates to be added, “A Clint Black Christmas” will hit Fort Worth, TX, Dallas, TX and Charles Town, WV.  The holiday-themed show will include a sampling of Clint Black fan favorites as well as music from both of his Christmas albums: Christmas with You and Looking for Christmas.

“I always look forward to the chance to play songs from my Christmas collection at these holiday shows,” shares Black. “This year, I am overjoyed to have Lisa joining me on stage on some dates. Along with performing our past duets, I refashioned a song from my Christmas collection into a duet for my musical, Looking for Christmas. We’re excited to share that one with the audiences.”

News of the on-stage Christmas collaboration comes several weeks after Black announced the debut of his first musical, Looking for Christmas. Based on the music from the album of the same name, the musical follows the story of Staff Sergeant Mike Randolf and his family as they settle back into life after he returns from Afghanistan.  His youngest daughter’s search for the true meaning of Christmas helps him make peace with his past on the battlefield.  Looking for Christmas: The Musical will open at the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego, CA on November 20th and run through December 16th.

CLINT BLACK CHRISTMAS PERFORMANCES:
December 2nd            Fort Worth, TX
December 3rd            Dallas, TX
December 7th & 8th    Charles Town, WV

It is one of the most storied careers in modern music. Clint Black surged to superstardom as part of the fabled Class of '89, reaching #1 with five consecutive singles from his triple-platinum debut, Killin' Time. He followed that with the triple-platinum Put Yourself in My Shoes, and then a string of platinum and gold albums throughout the '90s. Perhaps most impressively, Black wrote or co-wrote every one of his more than three dozen chart hits, including "A Better Man," "Where Are You Now," "When My Ship Comes In," "A Good Run of Bad Luck," "Summer's Comin'," "Like the Rain" and "Nothin' But the Taillights," part of a catalog that produced 22 #1 singles and made him one of the most successful singer/songwriters of the modern era.

Along the way, Black has sold over 20 million records, earned more than a dozen gold and platinum awards in the U.S. and Canada, landed nearly two dozen major awards and nominations, including more than a dozen GRAMMY nominations, and earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

As an actress, Lisa Hartman Black rose to prominence on Knots Landing and is the only prime-time TV character to be killed off one season and brought back by popular demand as a different character. Her first duet with husband Clint Black, “When I Said I Do,” reached Number 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts and was ultimately nominated for a Grammy Award.  In 2005 the duet was ranked #11 on CMT’s 100 Greatest Duets in Country Music. Their second duet, “Easy for Me to Say” reached Number 27 on the country music charts.

Clint Black, Don Henley and Lyle Lovett Present Helping Texans

When Clint Black, Don Henley and Lyle Lovett take the stage at Bass Hall in Fort Worth, Texas on Tuesday, November 28th, they’ll be doing so in support of their fellow Texans, whose lives have been upended by the ravages of one of the most vicious hurricanes in history. HELPING TEXANS: A HURRICANE HARVEY BENEFIT CONCERT will be a one-of-a-kind event where all ticket proceeds will go to The Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund at the North Texas Community Foundation, which will distribute the funds to charitable organizations and programs working in Houston and Aransas County to bring relief to those affected by Harvey. These distributions will be allocated according to the advice of Clint Black, Don Henley, Lyle Lovett and Ed Bass. The artists are donating their time and all expenses for the event are being underwritten by Ed Bass so that full proceeds from tickets sales and sponsorships will go to Hurricane Harvey Relief.

Tickets for HELPING TEXANS: A HURRICANE HARVEY BENEFIT CONCERT will be available to the public at www.basshall.com and by phone at 817-212-4280 this Friday, September 22nd.

“We all watched on the news as Harvey destroyed much of Southeast Texas and Houston, my hometown,” said country icon Clint Black. “We braced ourselves through the night as the flood waters grew closer to our family's doorsteps in Houston and Katy. My mom, brothers, niece and nephews were all very fortunate and I knew I had to find a way to help those who weren’t so lucky, to recover and rebuild what was lost in the hurricane.  I’m really proud to have friends like, Don, Lyle and everyone at Bass Performance Hall who'll join together for the cause."

“This is another example of Texans helping Texans, and I’m proud to be a part of it,” said legendary artist Don Henley.

“I'm honored to join fellow Texans Don Henley, Clint Black, and Ed Bass to raise money for victims of Hurricane Harvey,” said Lyle Lovett.

Hurricane Harvey was a Category 4 storm that hit Texas on August 25, 2017. It caused an estimated $180 billion in damage, more than any other natural disaster in U.S history with the exception of Hurricane Katrina.  The storm damaged 203,000 homes, of which 12,700 were destroyed.  Funds raised through this benefit concert will be deployed for immediate relief and will also address the communities’ long-term needs, which are likely to include rebuilding homes, schools, and community facilities and supporting survivors’ physical and mental health needs.

Entertainment Tonight EXCLUSIVE: Clint Black Opens Up About Hurricane Harvey's Devastation in His Hometown of Houston

Clint Black is doing what he can for his hometown of Houston, Texas, in the wake of Hurricane Harvey.

The 55-year-old country singer opened up about the devastation to ET on Tuesday, sharing that he and his family are "praying" for those affected by the disaster.

"We've been very lucky down there, counting our blessings and praying for everyone else," Black said.

"What we worry about most right now are the lives, and there are gonna be some long term needs," he added. "I know a lot of us are going to be looking at ways to lend our voices, our music, our songs, auction guitars, cowboys hats, boots, whatever we can do to get people to reach into their pockets. I'll be making donations to the Salvation Army, myself. I have great faith in them to find those that are in the greatest need, so we'll be looking for all those ways to help."

In addition to the Salvation Army, Black -- who wrote his song, "The Great Flood," about the Mississippi and Missouri rivers flood of 1993 -- praised Houston's first responders and brave citizens who stepped up to help their friends and neighbors.

"Personally, being a Houstonian, I want to give a shout-out to, of course, all of the first responders doing a great job. All the citizens who got out on their own accord and helped, but also to all the other states," he said. "I know that people came from as far away as Utah and just jumped in the water and started rescuing people. We got the Cajun Navy that came over from Louisiana... so many states [are] sending their rescue workers. So many citizens [are] pitching in."

"It's really heartwarming, when you see all the suffering, when you see all the worry and grief, it's uplifting to see how many people will jump into that nasty water and pull someone to safety, or their pets," he shared.

Remembering Fallen Officer Michael Louviere

Michael Louviere was a husband, father, a U.S. Marine, Afghan War Vet and member of the Westwego police force in Louisiana along with brave civil servants I'm proud to call my friends. Earlier this year, Mike, off-duty at the time, stopped to help someone who had been in an accident, only to be murdered by the same, leaving behind a wife and two young children. A horrifying story, senseless and tragic. Ours isn’t to understand why, but to support others in their time of need. His life is a remarkable story of dedication and kindness. Please give a minute or two - watch and maybe even help if you can... https://www.gofundme.com/michael-louviere-an-american-hero
